WALLEYE HATCHERY

Through donations the LVDLA has constructed and manned a Walleye hatchery located at Hillside Resort since 2015. With the support of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) we have managed to stock almost 5 MILLION Walleye fry into Lac Vieux Desert to date. EURASIAN WATER MILFOIL (EWM) ERADICATION

EWM is an invasive plant which was first found in Lac Vieux Desert in 2007. Since then the LVDLA has been granted $60K to fight the invasive species. For more information or to contribute to our efforts click the link below.

CLEAN BOATS / CLEAN WATERS (CBCW) INITIAIVE

The (CBCW) program was developed to educate the public about invasive species as well as provide the service of cleaning boats of any debris or plant material which could be transferred to other bodies of water. For more information click the link below.
